There are six major arterial roads in the city: Avinashi Road, Trichy Road, Sathyamangalam Road,Mettupalayam Road, Palakkad Road & Pollachi Road. They are well connected by national highways.
Traveling within the city of Coimbatore is quite easy. You can hire auto rickshaws, buses or call taxis to explore the town. Knowing the local language is an advantage.
